During two-day Conference, 11 Lectures and 34 free paper presentations were presented on noncommunicable diseases, globalization and health, geriatric medicine, mental health, health policy and program, injury, water and sanitation, health care financing, telemedicine, nutrition, and medical education. About three hundred physicians, scientists, health professionals, activists of different government and non-governmental organizations, faculty members and students from home and abroad (including those from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Somalia, Australia, and the USA) attended the Conference.

2nd Summit of South Asian Federation of Endocrine Society (SAFES) was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 24th to 26th April 2015.
21st Diabetes and Endocrine Conference 2015
In association with Endocrine Society, BADAS organized the 21st Diabetes and Endocrine Conference along with 5 satellite symposia in 2015. About 800 participants from home and abroad participated in the event. Various fields related to Diabetes and Endocrine focused in the conference. Scientists from home and abroad presented 45 papers in various sessions.
The main attraction of the meeting is the spectrum of its contents in which down to earth practical and clinical discussions were balanced with basic scientific presentations. Scientists from home and abroad presented 40 papers in various sessions. Conference provided a unique environment for socialization and interaction among physicians, researchers, technologists and health care activists in the region.
Drug Discovery & Development Research in Developing Countries (DRDC) Conference
Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) organized the 1st International Conference on 'Drug Discovery & Development Research in Developing Countries (DRDC)' at its Ibrahim Auditorium on October 3-6 2015.
More than 500 doctors, teachers, researchers and entrepreneurs of pharmaceutical industries from home and abroad including India, Pakistan, Australia, England, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Argentina and Singapore attended the conference and shared their valued experience. Researchers presented 47 studies on subjects varying from regional biota. Besides, 39 oral and 27 poster presentations were held on various topics, including immunology, therapeutic treatment, processing biotechnology for large scale production of biopharmaceuticals. About 50 pharmaceuticals and medical manufacturing companies displayed their products at the event.
