Healthcare and Humanitarian Services provided on the occasion of 'Diabetes Seba Dibosh'

On the occasion of 37th death anniversary of National Professor Dr. Mohammad Ibrahim, the founder of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) and ‘Diabetes Seba Dibosh’, various institutions of BADAS provided free diabetes screening, health check-ups, and various other healthcare services to the patients. Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute, an institution of BADAS, offered free consultation for heart patients and medical services at affordable prices.
A voluntary blood donation program was also organized by the BIRDEM Nursing College in collaboration with the BIRDEM Transfusion Medicine Department at the hospital's blood bank.
A discussion and question-and-answer session between specialist physicians and patients was also organized at the BIRDEM Auditorium. The program provided an opportunity for patients to interact directly with specialists and discuss issues related to diabetes and their overall health.

In addition, free diabetes screening and diagnostic services were provided as part of the observance. According to BADAS, free diabetes diagnosis and affordable treatment were made available at its healthcare centres, including BIRDEM, Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital, BIHS General Hospital and National Healthcare Network (NHN) centres, during the commemorative program.
Free diabetes screening was also conducted over several days at the BIRDEM General Hospital Complex and at various locations adjacent to BIHS General Hospital and NHN centres.
