BADAS provides Secondary and Tertiary care to a large number of diabetic patients in the form of general and specialized physician services, diagnostic intervention and basic to highly advanced surgical interventions.

• Medical and Surgical facilities in almost all disciplines at BIRDEM, BIHS, NHN, ICHRI and selective Affiliated Associations.

• ICU and CCU services in BIRDEM, NHN, ICHRI and some of the Affiliated Associations.
• Advanced medical and surgical care including ICU and CCU services for cardiovascular patients in BIRDEM and ICHRI
• Hemodialysis and kidney transplant in BIRDEM and ICHRI
• Special Care Baby Unit at Mohila o Shishu Hospital
• Surgical foot care in BIRDEM and NHN
• COVID ICU at BIHS General Hospital

Under the BIRDEM Laboratory Services Hormone Laboratory provides various investigations. Almost 80 investigations done on regular basis.

 Department of Molecular Diagnostic, BIRDEM

The newly formed Molecular Diagnostic department has started its laboratory function on 4th January 2021 with the manpower support from Immunology department, BIRDEM Hospital. Currently, Molecular diagnostic laboratory is running with following molecular diagnostic tests:

• HLA-B27 Genotyping
• Hepatitis B Virus (HBV-DNA) quantification &
• Hepatitis C Virus (HCV-RNA) quantification.

Planning to introduce HPV Genotyping for cervical cancer, HLA A B DR Genotyping for organ transplant, Oncology portfolios (EGFR, KRAS, BRAF etc.) for targeted therapy of cancer patient’s treatment purpose.

• NHN has Six seated ICU facilities at Shaheed Khalek Ibrahim General Hospital, 4/1, Rankin Street, Wari, Dhaka High Dependency Units (HDU) and Dialysis Unit

• NHN also have four seated HDU facilities at Shaheed Khalek Ibrahim General Hospital, 4/1, Rankin Street, Wari, Dhaka
