Towards Excellence In Biomedical Research
TOWARDS EXCELLENCE IN BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH
BADAS has adopted a unique strategy by including research in its priority list, which is rare in the setting of a country like Bangladesh where research activities are typically considered to be a luxury. Basic, clinical, and public health research are being conducted in this area. In acknowledgment of this, the BIRDEM has been established as a Center for Research on the Prevention and Control of Diabetes and Its Complications. Many students studying basic and clinical sciences, as well as public health (both domestically and internationally), choose BADAS (especially BIRDEM and BUHS) as their preferred location to complete their postgraduate level thesis work.
Each year, a number of national International publications and presentations originated from research activities conducted in various departments or laboratories of BADAS..
