A. Introduction of The Institution

As a part of that dream BADAS initially founded National Institute of Health (NNIH) in 2005 and then Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences (BIHS) with the support at university of Oslo and the Rockefeller foundation in 2009 under Dhaka University. Establishment of separate university was strongly felt to introduce programs of modern day need in the above mentioned fields and approval was finally obtained from the pragmatic government to established Bangladesh University of Health Sciences (BUHS) in 2012.
